Introducing the Option Block
We’re introducing a major enhancement to the Decision Engine: the new Option Block, a streamlined way to collect user choices and guide conversations without any technical setup.
The Option Block allows you to ask a question, define several possible choices, and route each choice to a different part of the process — all in one place. It replaces the need to combine multiple blocks or configure custom logic.
Simple setup – Create options and branching paths without Data Types or custom logic.
Understands user input automatically – If the user already mentioned relevant information earlier in the conversation, the AI can detect it and skip the question.
Optional explanations – Add descriptions to help the AI classify the user’s message accurately.
Built-in retries – Control how many times the question should be asked.
Flexible routing – Each option leads to its own follow-up block.
The Option Block makes it much easier to design conversational flows that depend on user-selected categories — from troubleshooting steps to product recommendations. It brings together input gathering and branching logic into a single, intuitive tool.
