We're introducing Role-Based Access Control — a comprehensive way to manage who can access and modify what across your Zowie workspace and AI Agents. As teams grow, giving everyone full access becomes a security risk and can lead to accidental changes. RBAC lets you create custom roles with specific permissions, ensuring each team member has exactly the access they need — no more, no less.

Two Role Types for Complete Control

1. Workspace Roles – Control access to organization-wide settings including team management, integrations, customer segmentation, availability settings, and billing. Each user has one Workspace role that applies across your entire account.

2. AI Agent Roles – Control access to individual AI Agent configurations. Users can have different roles for different AI Agents — perfect for teams managing multiple bots or when you want to limit who can modify production configurations.

Key Capabilities

1. Granular Permissions. Choose from over 50 permissions covering every feature area. Grant view-only access for stakeholders, full edit access for developers, or anything in between.

2. Predefined Super Admin Roles. Get started quickly with built-in Workspace - Super Admin and Automate - Super Admin roles that grant full access. Use these as references when building custom roles.

3. Protect Critical Actions. Restrict sensitive operations like publishing to production, deleting AI Agents, or viewing API headers to trusted team members only.
